Wöhrener Siek
The Wöhrener Siek is a nature reserve in the city of Bad Oeynhausen . It is around 17.5 hectares and is listed under the designation MI-055.
The area is located north of the district of Eidinghausen on the southern slope of the Wiehengebirge .
The Wöhrener Siek is a particularly diverse structured sieve system in the Minden-Lübbecke district . The protection should serve to maintain and restore this biotope complex . The biotope, with its rivers , sedges , wet meadows and wet meadows , is a refuge for rare and endangered animal and plant species. In addition, the exceptionally scenic stream valley with its geomorphological valley shape is to be protected.
