Wulferdingsener Mühlensiek
The Wulferdingsener Mühlensiek is a nature reserve in the city of Bad Oeynhausen . It is around 66 hectares and is listed under the designation MI-053.
The area lies north of the districts of Wulferdingsen and Volmerdingsen and on the southern slope of the Wiehengebirge .
The Wulferdingsener Mühlensiek is a particularly distinctive sieving system in the Minden-Lübbecke district . The protection should serve to maintain and restore this diverse structured biotope complex . The biotope, with its flowing waters, reed beds , wet meadows and wet meadows , is a refuge for rare and threatened animal and plant species.
