Wölgada is a part of the market Weidenberg in the district of Bayreuth .

The wasteland is a good three and a half kilometers northwest of the Weidenberg town center, right on the edge of a forest. The next larger district is Untersteinach, about a kilometer to the west . Only a little to the north, in the forest, is Böritzen .
