Wörpedahl is a part of the municipality Worpswede in the district of Osterholz in Lower Saxony .

history

Wörpedahl was founded as part of the moor colonization of the Teufelsmoor in 1766. In 1789 it is stated that the number of households is seven and that 34 residents, including 20 children, lived in the village. The 1871 census counted 38 residents in eight residential buildings. In 1910 the place had 46 inhabitants.
