Neu Sankt Jürgen is a part of the municipality Worpswede in the Lower Saxony district of Osterholz .
Geography and transport links
Neu Sankt Jürgen is located northeast of the core town of Worpswede. State road L 165 runs to the west .
The station Neu Sankt Jurgen is on the Moor Express (Moorexpress) . The trains only run seasonally from May to October on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from Stade via Bremervörde, Gnarrenburg, Worpswede and Osterholz-Scharmbeck to Bremen Hbf . The Hamme , a source of the Lesum, flows west of the village .

- Meadows and pastures northeast of the Breite Wasser (153 ha)

history
Neu Sankt Jürgen was founded as part of the moor colonization of the Teufelsmoor in 1753. In 1791 it is stated that the number of houses is 45 with 252 inhabitants, including 166 children.
