Włodzimierz Krygier
Włodzimierz Karol Krygier (born January 29, 1900 in Yekaterinoslav , Russian Empire , † September 17, 1975 in London , United Kingdom ) was a Polish ice hockey and football player .
Career
Włodzimierz Krygier studied law and then worked as a lawyer . As a football player , he played in Poland from 1920 to 1923 for AZS Warsaw and then for six years for the city neighbor Polonia Warsaw . In ice hockey , he won the Polish championship title with AZS Warsaw in 1929 and 1930 . Following the Second World War , he emigrated to London.
International
For the Polish National Hockey Krygier took part in the Olympic Winter Games in 1928 in St. Moritz and 1932 in Lake Placid part. At the European Championships in 1929 he won the silver medal with his country. He also received the silver medal in the European championship with Poland at the 1931 World Championship , when the European Championship was part of the World Cup. In total, he played 35 international matches in which he scored four goals.
