The 1966/67 season was the 15th regular season of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The Seattle totems became champions .
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The San Francisco Seals were relocated to Oakland , California and changed their name to California Seals.
- The San Diego Gulls were added to the league as an expansion team.

In the regular season, the seven teams played 72 games each. The four best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
