The Victoria Maple Leafs were a Canadian ice hockey franchise of the Western Hockey League from Victoria , British Columbia .
history
The franchise the Denver Invaders from the Western Hockey League became the season 1964/65 , relocated to Victoria, British Columbia and changed its name to Victoria Maple Leafs. The most successful season in team history was the 1965/66 season , in which the team won the Lester Patrick Cup .
Following the 1966/67 season , the Victoria Maple Leafs were relocated to Phoenix , Arizona , and from then on played as Phoenix Roadrunners in the WHL.
