The Seattle Bombers were an American ice hockey franchise of the Western Hockey League based in Seattle , Washington .
history
The Seattle Bombers were founded as a franchise of the Western Hockey League for the 1952/53 season . They replaced the Seattle Ironmen from the Pacific Coast Hockey League , who had stopped playing in the same year. In their premiere season, the team finished fifth in the WHL. In the 1953/54 season she did not get past seventh and thus last place in the league . Then the Seattle Bombers stopped playing again. The void they left in the city was filled in 1955 by the Seattle Americans , who subsequently also played in the WHL.
