The Denver Invaders were an American ice hockey franchise of the Western Hockey League based in Denver , Colorado .
history
The franchise of Spokane Comets from the Western Hockey League was the 1963-64 season , relocated to Denver, Colorado and changed its name to Denver Invaders. In his only season that reached the farm team of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League first place in the regular season in which it won two-thirds of its games.
In the summer of 1964 the Denver Invaders were relocated to Victoria , British Columbia , and from then on played as Victoria Maple Leafs in the WHL.
