The Spokane Spokes were an American ice hockey franchise of the Western Hockey League from Spokane , Washington .
history
The Spokane Spokes were founded for the 1958/59 season as a franchise of the Western Hockey League . In their only season, the team reached fourth place in the Coast Division. The Spokes acted as the farm team of the Canadiens de Montréal from the National Hockey League . From 1959 to 1963, the Spokane Comets played another team from the city in the Western Hockey League.
