The juniper grove is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony town of Lingen (Ems) in the Emsland district .
The nature reserve with the registration number NSG WE 045 is 17 hectares in size. It is located in the northeast of the city of Lingen, east of the village of Brögbern and protects a former hut forest that was historically used as a common pasture. Due to the grazing with cattle, the forest is relatively light. Individual areas in the protected area are free of trees, grassland predominates here. Old juniper bushes can be found in parts of the nature reserve . To preserve the landscape, it is still grazed today.
The area has been a nature reserve since July 15, 1959. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the city of Lingen (Ems).
