Waiting for Sunset is a post-hardcore band from Almería , Andalusia , Spain, founded in 2007 .

history

The founders of the group are José María "Gotche" Crespo ( vocals ) and Ignacio Miguel Muñoz Escanella ( guitar ). After the duo spent the first year writing their first songs and doing a few local shows, the group moved to Granada . There the three musicians Jesús Martí (guitar, vocals), Jorge Rodríguez ( drums ) and María José Ferrer ( bass ) joined Crespo and Escanella.

This was followed by a tour through Spain before the group was signed by the Austrian metal label Noisehead Records (including Before the Fall ) in 2010 . With Mario Jezik, the group produced their debut album A Reason to Be Found , which was released on February 11, 2011 and is available worldwide. Shortly after their album was released, the group gave an interview in the Spanish version of Kerrang! Magazine . A Reason to Be Found is sold in online shops from well-known labels, including Relapse Records and Nuclear Blast , as well as online retailers such as Amazon , ITunes , Spotify and EMP . A music video for the song In My Head was released .

On July 14, 2012, the band announced that they had separated from their previous drummer Jorge Rodríguez. The reason given was personal differences between Rodríguez and singer José María Crespo.
