history
The forest pool was built in the 1960s and 1970s . The pit was built on the former Kümmerlingwiese. A large proportion of the population at the time helped dig the lake. The opening took place on May 15, 1976 .
General
The forest pool offers 55,000 m², a 40,000 m² beach and sunbathing area, pedal and rowing boat rental and a large number of holiday homes that can be booked . Currently (as of August 2020 ) there are two floating platforms and a diving platform available.
