Life

Kluch was born in Kazakhstan and came to Hamburg in 1971 . He was active in the martial arts of karate and judo active, professional he was as an operator of casinos and - machines in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony operates. In 1989 he founded the company DIMA-Sportpromotion, with which he looked after athletes from Eastern Europe in particular, including tennis players Yevgeny Kafelnikow and Andrej Medvedev . He also ran the DIMA sports center in Hamburg, which has existed since 1996.

In the summer of 2011, Kluch took over the boxing stable Universum Box-Promotion from Klaus-Peter Kohl . The purchase price was allegedly 1.5 million euros. During the presentation, Kluch, who represented a group of investors from Russia and China, set the goal of “having a world champion in every weight class”. It was also announced that the Universum training center would be relocated from its previous location in Hamburg-Wandsbek to the DIMA sports center in Hamburg-Lohbrügge . Kohl and Kluch had already done business with each other in the past when Kluch bought gambling halls from Kohl. At the end of August 2012, Kohl reported, according to Bild , that Kluch had still not paid 80 percent of the sum agreed for the sale of the Universum. Kohl applied for the foreclosure sale of Kluch's DIMA sports center through his lawyer in order to receive his money.

In November 2012, Kluch announced that he had filed for bankruptcy for Universum Box-Promotion. Boxers Sebastian Zbik , Zsolt Erdei , boxing promoter Erol Ceylan and others accused Universum of still owing them money. In April 2013 there was an agreement between Kohl and Kluch, the foreclosure auction of the DIMA sports center was thus off the table.

In May 2013, Kluch was arrested on the basis of an urgent suspicion (investigations into suspected blackmail and attempted coercion in three cases). In March 2014, Kluch's lawyers filed criminal charges against Klaus-Peter Kohl for fraud. They had expressed the suspicion that Universum was already in debt before the sale to Kluch.

At the beginning of September 2014, Kluch was sentenced to three years imprisonment by the Hamburg regional court for "robbery and extortion in unity with attempted and complete coercion and attempted fraud". He is said to have sent death threats to Klaus-Peter Kohl and two other business partners via short messages. Kluch protested his innocence. The defense appealed against the verdict, and after a complaint, Kluch was initially released from custody in February 2015.

Kluch's DIMA sports center was later bought by the city of Hamburg for 7.5 million euros in order to build refugee accommodation on the premises there.
