Waldemar von Grumbkow

Waldemar Oskar Albert Viktor von Grumbkow (born April 27, 1888 in Breslau , Lower Silesia , † July 2, 1959 in Wuppertal - Elberfeld ) was a German lawyer (Dr. jur.), Lecturer and writer .

family

Grumbkow came from an old Pomeranian noble family and was the son of the royal Prussian major Oskar von Grumbkow (1852-1894) and Elsbeth Mantey (1855-1901).

He married on September 9, 1913 in Neubrandenburg ( Mecklenburg ) Charlotte Voss (born August 21, 1886 in Friedland (Mecklenburg) ; † May 22, 1947 in Düsseldorf ), the daughter of the mayor Hermann Voss and Anna Störzel . The couple had two sons (twins) and a daughter.

His cousin was the adventurer and author Ina von Grumbkow (1872–1942).
