Grumbkow is the name of an old Pomeranian noble family with the parent house of the same name in the Stolp district .

history

The family is mentioned as early as 1400 in the possession of Runow bei Stolp and appears for the first time in a document in 1426. The family line begins with Klaus von Grumbkow (1402-1456), who is named as the landowner on Grumbkow . In 1683 the family was counted among the Pomeranian castle-sitters.

The royal Saxon nobility recognition takes place on December 27, 1915 for Heinrich von Grumbkow , farmer and insurance director in Dresden .

The coat of arms shows an upright blue arrow in silver . On the helmet with blue-silver covers a fallen silver crescent with three gold stars .
