Heike Brückner from Grumbkow

Heike Brückner von Grumbkow (* 1963 in Berlin ) is a German screenwriter.

Life

After completing her studies in journalism and art history at the Free University of Berlin (MA), she first worked as a freelance art market journalist and dubbing writer . Between 1993 and 1997 she was in charge of ongoing projects for Grundy UFA as well as various new developments ( Verbotene Liebe , All together , Behind bars ).

After two years as a freelance screenwriter, she was a producer for Polyphon from 1999 to 2001 ( Polizeiruf 110 and new developments). As an editor at SAT.1, from 2001 to 2005 she was in charge of the development of pilot films ( The Scent of Money , Corns and Mutt ) and new series (The Elephant - Murder Never Limits , K11 - Commissioners in Action ) and supervised existing formats ( For all Cases Stefanie ). In 2006 she wrote the concept of the daily series Rote Rosen for Multimedia Niedersachsen, originally planned as a telenovela, and built up the story and script department as head author together with her brother Jörg Brückner. The 3000th episode was broadcast in 2019. The series Bloody Beginners , which has been broadcast on ZDF since January 2020 , was created in the same constellation .

In 2014, in collaboration with Jochen von Grumbkow, a blind hero was created - Otto Weidt's love . The semi-documentary film received awards at festivals in Seoul (for Edgar Selge as best actor), Haifa, Houston and New York. The authors' follow-up project is the cinematic double portrait of Mata Hari and Mademoiselle Docteur .

Heike Brückner von Grumbkow passes on her professional experience to young authors at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg . She lives in Berlin with her husband and child.
