The Waldgraben is a right and western tributary of the Hambach in the Central Franconian districts of Ansbach and Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

The forest ditch rises at a crossroads between Großlellenfeld in the south and Goldbühl in the north at an altitude of 486  m above sea level. NN . The stream crosses some forest areas in sections and feeds a chain of ponds. After a run of around 1.8 kilometers, the stream flows out at an altitude of 434  m above sea level. NN northwest of Oberhambach from the right into the Hambach.
