Sam is a new engineer who receives a tempting job offer from her father. She can become a partner in the family business if she prepares a remote house to be blown up.

When she arrived in the building, she discovered that there were still several people living in it. She moves into a room in the building and gets to work. She meets a boy who is the son of the caretaker. There is also an old woman and a black woman in need of care. Sam realizes that the blueprints do not match the conditions on site and feels that something strange is going on in the house. Her boyfriend comes to visit her unexpectedly, and they both want to fly off quickly on vacation. Before leaving, the boy lures the two of them into a trap, their boyfriend is murdered and Sam is held in a secret hole together with the architect Malestrazza. He finally sacrifices himself so that Sam can survive. In the last minute before the demolition, the boy saves the young engineer and dies in the process.
