Reviews

  • "The Austrian Walter Baco is one of the really great writers of our time. The proof: his novel 'Die Nirwana Connection'. The exciting plot winds up at lightning speed, literally overturns. In almost every detail one can find the absurd and bizarre of today Civilization ... The great novel of our time? There's nothing to add to that. "
  • "The story, which is divided into many small chapters, is not convincing; here an author squirms who is critical but does not want to criticize anyone and yet wants to fill a book. I assume that the Neumarkt library will get this book as a gift and the Seekirchen library will buy it that the people of Seekirchen - at the other end of the Wallersee - have something to criticize. The rest of Europe, with a focus on Austria's public libraries, can definitely do without. "
