Páramo is a municipality (municipio) in the department of Santander in Colombia .

Páramo is located in the province of Guanentá in Santander at an altitude of 1200  m above sea level. NN in the Colombian Andes . The distance to the capital of Santander Bucaramanga is about 117 km. The average temperature is between 19 and 22 ° C. Páramo borders on the following municipalities: in the north San Gil and Pinchote , in the west Socorro and Confines , in the south Charalá and in the east Valle de San José and Ocamonte .
