Walter Kaul

Walter Kaul (born January 30, 1903 in Naumburg (Saale) ; † unknown) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and deputy Reich youth leader .

After attending the Oberrealschule in Fulda and the Reform Realgymnasium in Naumburg, Walter Kaul joined a counter-revolutionary resident army following the November Revolution of 1918. Then he took part as a member of a volunteer corps in the fight against the revolutionaries in the central German rebellion area.

In 1921/1922 Kaul completed his apprenticeship as an industrial worker. He then studied at the Technical University of Hanover and earned his living as a farm worker. In 1923 he joined the Artillery Regiment 5 of the Reichswehr , from which he took his leave in autumn 1932 with the character of a captain.

In 1932 Kaul joined the Hitler Youth . From 1933 to 1934 he held the post of staff leader of the Reich Youth Leadership. In this position he was also the deputy of the Reich Youth Leader Baldur von Schirach . In 1934 he received the rank of area leader in the Hitler Youth. In the same year he resigned from the management staff of the GH. His successor as staff leader was Nabelsberger .

Kaul had been a member of the NSDAP since March 1933 (membership number 1.429.257).

From November 1933 to March 1936 Kaul was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 30 (Chemnitz-Zwickau) . Although he ran in the Reichstag election on March 29, 1936 - this time as captain a. D. in Tegernsee - but no longer received a mandate.

In 1935 Kaul was sentenced to a short term imprisonment for foreign currency offenses.
