Walter Seestern-Pauly

Walter Seestern-Pauly , also Walther , completely Hans Hermann Walt (h) er Seestern-Pauly (born December 4, 1829 in Schwarzenbek , † November 21, 1888 in Lübeck ) was a German lawyer .

Life

Walter Seestern-Pauly was the eldest of eight children of the bailiff Friedrich Seestern-Pauly and his second wife Caroline Juliane (1810–1882), née. from Stemann. The architect Georg Seestern-Pauly was his younger brother.

He attended the Katharineum in Lübeck until he graduated from high school at Easter 1850 (together with his brother Georg) and then studied law at the universities of Leipzig and Kiel. In 1857 he passed his law exam. In 1859 he was at the University of Kiel Dr. jur. PhD. From Michaelis 1859 to 1862 he taught as a private lecturer in Kiel. From 1874 he practiced as a lawyer at the Higher Regional Court of Schleswig and at the Regional Court of Kiel and as a notary ; he was appointed to the judiciary in August 1882 .
