Walther Tiemann

Bernhard Theodor Walther Tiemann (born May 8, 1868 in Bielefeld ; † September 21, 1939 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German administrative lawyer and district administrator in the Prussian district of Ostrowo , Province of Posen (1907-1918).

Life

With his successfully completed training as a lawyer, Tiemann started as a court clerk at the district court in Halle (Westphalia) and for the Bielefeld public prosecutor's office . In 1895 he worked as a government clerk in Kassel and since 1899 as a government assessor and assistant to the district administrator in Lehe . In 1901 he moved to the Schaumburg-Lippe government and in 1903 as a department head to the Poznan government . From 1906 to 1918 Tiemann served as district administrator in Ostrowo . After his dismissal by the Polish People's Council in 1918, he worked in the Prussian state grain office. Subsequently, he moved to the high presidium in the province of Brandenburg until 1921 as senior government councilor for the crown property administration . In 1925 Tiemann became government director in Königsberg (Prussia) .
