Waltraud Maria Neumann

Waltraud Maria Neumann (* 1935 as Waltraud Maria Behrens ) is a German philosopher .

Live and act

From 1967 to the Abitur in 1970 she attended the evening grammar school in Braunschweig . In the 1970 winter semester she began studying German , philosophy and art history at the TU Braunschweig . On July 5, 1978, she received her doctorate in art history under Martin Gosebruch . On December 27, 1978, she converted to the Catholic Church and studied philosophy and Catholic theology. In adult education since 1980 she was in Braunschweig in the field of philosophy, then from 1988 in Salzgitter , also from 1990 in Hanover and from 1992 in Hildesheim , always mainly in the field of philosophy, and from 1992 also in the field of art history up to 1995. She received her doctorate in philosophy on June 18, 1985 with Heribert Boeder . The Bishop of Hildesheim, Josef Homeyer , awarded her on August 28, 1985 the Missio canonica for teaching Catholic religion. To do this, she passed an examination in Catholic theology with Wilhelm Arens on June 18, 1985. From 1988 to 1997 the wife taught the Catholic religion at a total of six different schools in the city of Salzgitter and the district of Wolfenbüttel , mostly at three schools at the same time. Since 1993 she has been teaching at the Gustav Siewerth Academy in philosophy ( Augustine research ) and occasionally in the related areas of art history.
