Wang Chieh-fu ( Chinese  王介甫 , Pinyin Wáng Jièfǔ ; born September 11, 1993 in Taipei ) is a Taiwanese tennis player .

Career

Wang Chieh-fu mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far, he has won a title in the doubles competition on the Future Tour, which is ranked lower. He has not yet achieved such a success on the Challenger Tour, but his best result so far in 2013 was the final of the tournament in Kaohsiung at the side of Yuki Bhambri .

On the ATP World Tour he made his debut in 2014 in the doubles competition of the Open 13 in Marseille , where he started in the main draw thanks to a wildcard and in the first round, alongside Lee Hsin-han , against Paul Hanley and Jonathan Marray in two Lost sentences. In May 2014 he received a wild card for the doubles competition for the tournament in Nice , but failed with the same partner in the first round.

On September 12, 2014, he first appeared in the Davis Cup for the Taiwanese Davis Cup team . He clearly lost his game in the Group I relegation against South Korea in three sets with 4: 6, 5: 7 and 2: 6 against Chung Hyeon . In 2015 he won his only Challenger title in Taipei . He has not played a professional tournament since 2016.
