Wang Wanbin

Wang Wanbin ( Chinese  王万宾 ; born July 5, 1949 in Yangquan , Shanxi ) is a Chinese politician of the Communist Party of China (CCP), who was Minister of Metallurgical Industry from 1998 to 1999.

Life

Wang Wanbin attended Anhui Technological University in Ma'anshan between 1965 and 1969 and then began his professional career in October 1969 as a worker in the power station of the local iron and steel mine Magang, where he was administrative secretary between September 1973 and January 1979 . During this time, he became a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in November 1974 and served as the deputy section head of the Secretariat of the CCP Party Committee of the Magang Iron and Steel Committee from January 1979 to September 1980, and then head and deputy director from September 1980 to May 1983 the Secretariat of the Office of the CCP City Committee of Ma'anshan. He was then a member of the CCP Party Committee of the Magang Iron and Steel Committee from 1983 to 1993, and was its deputy general director from 1986 to 1994. During this time he attended from 1898 to 1992 the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China and was followed from 1993 to 1994 both party secretary of the CCP Party Committee of the iron and Stahlkominats Magang and its vice-chairman. He also served as the deputy secretary of the CCP City Party Committee of Ma'anshan from 1993 to 1995, and was director of the personnel training department of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry from 1994 to 1995. He graduated from the CCP Central Party College in Beijing from 1995 to 1998 .

Wang Wanbin only served as Vice Minister for Metallurgical Industry from 1996 to 1998, and in March 1998 he took over from Liu Qi as Minister of Metallurgical Industry in the State Council of the People's Republic of China . He held this post until June 1999 and was also secretary of the CCP leadership group at that ministry between March 1998 and June 1999. He then served as vice minister in the State Economic and Trade Commission from 1999 to 2001, during which time he was also a member of the CCP's leadership group. In July 2001 he was in the majority of Zhuang inhabited Autonomous Region Guangxi added, and was there until February 2004. In December 2005, Wang Wanbin assumed the post of deputy general secretary of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress and also held the post of the 11th National People's Congress between 2008 and 2013. On the XVII. At the CPC Congress (October 15-21, 2007), he also became a member of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and was a member of this body after his re-election at the XVIII. Party congress (November 8-14, 2012) until October 18, 2017. He is also a member of the National People's Congress and has been deputy chairman of the Committee on Nationalities for the twelfth legislative period since 2013.
