Wang Yifu (born December 4, 1960 in Liaoyang ) is a Chinese marksman and coach.

Wang won a bronze medal with the Free Pistol when the People's Republic of China first participated in Los Angeles in 1984 . Eight years later in Barcelona in 1992 he only had to admit defeat to the 16-year-old Belarusian Kanstanzin Lukaschyk in the same discipline . But just two days later, Wang became Olympic champion with an air pistol .

At the 1996 Atlanta Games , Wang Yifu looked like the sure winner with an air pistol until the penultimate shot in the final. But in the last round he only scored a 6.5, while the Italian Roberto Di Donna hit a 10.5 and was Olympic champion 0.1 ring ahead of Wang. Four years later in Sydney , Wang took silver again in the same discipline. Wang achieved his second Olympic victory in Athens when he again won the gold medal with the air pistol with an Olympic record of 690.0 rings.

After Athens he resigned from active sport and became the Chinese national coach for pistol shooters.
