Warren Murphy

Warren Burton Murphy (born September 13, 1933 in Jersey City , New Jersey - † September 4, 2015 in Virginia Beach , Virginia ) was an American reporter, writer and screenwriter.

Life

Murphy was best known as co-writing the " The Destroyer " series, which served as the basis for the film " Remo - Unarmed and Dangerous ". He worked as a reporter and editor and after serving in the Korean War , he was an assistant professor at Moravian College in Bethlehem , Pennsylvania , and was also active in politics.

Murphy also wrote the script for " Focal Point LA ". He is the author of the Trace and Digger series . Two books of a planned trilogy about the character of "The Grand Master" himself (the Grand Master) turn, he wrote with Molly Cochran . With her, Murphy also wrote the contributions to Forever King and several novels published under the name Dev Stryker . Some of his solo novels are Jericho Day, The Red Moon, The Ceiling of Hell, The Sure Thing, and Honor Among Thieves .

A few years ago Murphy founded his own publishing house, Ballybunion , to publish the spin-off books for The Destroyer . Ballybunion has The Assassin's Handbook (Handbook Assassin) reprinted, and other works: The Assassin's Handbook 2 (Handbook Assassin 2) , " The Movie That Never Was " ( "The film that never was" one of Murphy along with Richard Sapir wrote a script for a never realized “The Destroyer” film), “ The Way of the Assassin (the wisdom of Chiun) ” and New Blood (“New Blood "), A collection of fans of the short story series. Murphy was a member of the Mystery Writers of America and other writers' associations.
