Rothe is a district of Beverungen in the district of Höxter , North Rhine-Westphalia .
history
The first documentary mention was in the 12th century as the property of the Helmarshausen monastery . Before it was incorporated into Beverungen, which came into force on January 1, 1970, Rothe was an independent municipality in the Beverungen district .

On the southern outskirts of the village on the border to Borgentreich there is a watch tower from 1430. The tower is one of the architectural monuments of the city of Beverungen .
