Tietelsen is a district of Beverungen in the Höxter district , North Rhine-Westphalia .
history
During the Cold War, the 43rd Belgian Artillery Battalion, based in Brakel , maintained a mobile anti-aircraft missile facility of the type MIM-23 HAWK in Tietelsen from 1963 to 1993 .
Before the incorporation on January 1, 1970, Tietelsen was an independent municipality in the Beverungen district .
Buildings
The Catholic parish church of St. Bartholomew was built in 1801.
