Washington State Ferries
Washington State Ferries is an American public company of the Ministry of Transport of the State of Washington ( Washington State Department of Transportation ). The company's headquarters are in Seattle.
This offers ferry connections in Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands as well as an international connection to Canada (to Sydney ) and has its own ships . All ferries transport cars and people at the same time. Washington State Ferries was founded in 1951 and began operating ferry services on June 1, 1951.
In terms of the number of vehicles carried, Washington State Ferries has the highest capacity worldwide with 11 million annually.

The largest ship can carry up to 2500 passengers and 202 cars. The uniform paint is green and white. Washington State Ferries operates the largest fleet of ferries in the United States and is one of the largest fleet owners in the world.
