Wasted Shells is a Swedish groove and thrash metal band from Lund that was formed in 2006.
history
The band was founded in 2006, although the band was initially only active occasionally. This only changed in 2010 when Ola and Johan Svensson, Marcus Skantz, Jonathan Sennö and Tobias Ohlsson re-formed the band. The Debt album followed a year later , before a tour of Sweden and Denmark followed. After that, the group recorded new songs again, resulting in the second album The Collector , which was released in April 2013. The publication in Germany took place in March 2014.

According to the Facebook presence, the group was influenced by bands like Metallica , Slayer , Pantera and Machine Head . According to laut.de , the mixture of groove and thrash metal on The Collector , comparable to the music of Pantera, Machine Head and The Haunted , is still the same as with the predecessor, but it has evolved.
