The house Weberstraße 43 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . It is registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register. To the south is the also listed building at Weberstrasse 44 .

Architecture and history

Based on the size and positioning of the windows, the time of construction of the three-storey half - timbered house is estimated to be around 1800. The facade of the building is plastered, the upper floors protrude slightly. Above the front door there is a skylight decorated with Art Nouveau glazing .

It is believed that there are remains of the former Augustinian monastery inside the building.
