Wei Chen-yang ( Chinese  魏 辰 洋 , Pinyin Wèi Chényáng , born February 23, 1992 ) is a Taiwanese Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 58 kilograms.

Wei played his first international title fights at the Junior Asian Championships in 2009 in Kisch , where he reached the final in the class up to 59 kilograms and won silver. In the following year he made his breakthrough in the adult field. At the Asian Games in Guangzhou , he won his first international title in the class up to 58 kilograms. He was also successful at the Asian Championships in Astana , where he won the silver medal. At his first World Cup in 2011 in Gyeongju , Wei went straight to the semi-finals, where he lost to Joel González , but was able to win his first World Cup medal with bronze.

Wei won the Asian Olympic qualification tournament in 2011 in Bangkok in the class up to 58 kilograms and secured participation in the 2012 Olympic Games in London .
