Wei Yili
Wei Yili ( Chinese 魏 軼 力 / 魏 轶 力 , Pinyin Wèi Yìlì ; born June 24, 1982 in Yichang ) is a badminton player from the People's Republic of China .
Wei Yili participated for China in badminton at the 2004 Olympics in women's doubles with her partner Zhao Tingting . They had a bye in the first round and in the second round they beat Gail Emms and Donna Kellogg of England . In the quarter-finals they beat Lee Hyo-jung and Hwang Yu-mi from South Korea 8:15, 15: 6, 15:13. In the semifinals they lost to their compatriots Huang Sui and Gao Ling with 10:15 and 14:17. The game for third place was also lost to Ra Kyung-min and Lee Kyung-won .
Together with her partner Zhang Yawen , she won the silver medal at the Badminton World Cup in 2006 , and at the World Cup a year later they both reached the semifinals.
