The Weilbach or in the upper reaches of Reuenthalbach is a right tributary of the Mud in the Bavarian Odenwald .
Surname
The name Weilbach is made up of the personal name Wilo and the Old High German word bach . The brook gave the market town of Weilbach its name.

course
The Weilbach rises as Reuenthalbach southwest of Wenschdorf . It flows through an almost untouched valley in a south-westerly direction. From Reuenthal onwards it bears the name Weilbach. It flows southeast of Weilbach towards the Gotthardsberg (304 m) and bends to the northwest. In Weilbach it flows into the Mud at the bridge at the entrance to the town .
