Weinberg im Burgenland is a district of the municipality Wiesfleck in Burgenland , Oberwart district , Austria .

history

It was first mentioned in a document in 1569. In Weinberg there is an old weir system, which was probably an outbuilding of Willersdorfer Castle. The place belonged to Hungary until 1921. Due to the Magyarization policy , the Hungarian place name Borhegy was used between 1898 and 1921 .
