The Autonomous District Weixi Lisu (Tibetan Balung is) an autonomous group of Lisu in Autonomous County Dêqên of Tibetans in the northwestern Chinese province of Yunnan . It has an area of ​​4,661 km². In 2003 Weixi had 144,551 inhabitants, 83.28% of whom belonged to national minorities. 13.05% of the country’s Primi live in Weixi. The main town of Weixi is the large community Baohe (保 和 镇).

The Shouguo Temple ( 寿 国寺 , Shouguo si ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-760) since 2006 .
