Wellendorf is a district of the municipality of Suhlendorf in the joint municipality of Rosche in the district of Uelzen in Lower Saxony . Wellendorf was an independent municipality until 1972. In the course of the district reform , it became part of the integrated community of Rosche (Suhlendorf).

geography

Wellendorf is located in the valley of the Wellendorfer Graben on the federal road 71 between Schlieckau in the west and Groß Ellenberg in the east. A road runs from the village to Gavendorf ( Wrestedt ) in the south.

Southeast, the 12 is ha large nature reserve Black Moor at Gavendorf . The Kroetzer Bach , a left tributary of the Wellendorfer Graben , has its source to the east of the village .
