The Wellersberg is a 479  m high peak in the hessian Spessart . Paths lead to him from the Frammersbacher brewery, as well as from Mosborn and Kempfenbrunn . The mountain, which is covered by coniferous forest, is accessed from the west by a forest road marked NW 5 . The highest point is marked with a wooden plaque.

Wellberg

To the south extends an elongated ridge, the highest point of which ( 404  m , 50 ° 5 '  N , 9 ° 27'  E ) also bears the name of Wellersberg . It is already in Bavaria and is called Wellberg on the topographic map of this state . About its highest point, although a leading lane , the place is not identified. However, at a crossroads on a saddle right on the border there is a wooden plaque with the inscription "Wellberg, 404 meters", although the crossing itself is less than 400 meters high and about 625 meters northwest of the highest point.

Bergfeld and Wellerstal

One kilometer to the west is the Bergfeld , an agriculturally cleared island at up to 460 meters above sea level. The Wellerstal extends between the Wellberg and the Heuberg. It flows into the Lohr valley at the Waldschloss brewery . Frammersbach clubs (riflemen, anglers, poultry farmers) have their facilities in its lowest area. The middle section, which is also still Bavarian, is crossed by two good forest roads and is - albeit above the valley floor - well developed, the upper Hessian section can be walked lengthways on a forest path, but the forest path at the upper end of the mountain field, like others on the topographic maps, is already there is quite overgrown, which makes an inspection in the warmer half of the year problematic because of the risk of ticks .
