Welyka Zwilja ( Ukrainian Велика Цвіля ; Russian Великая Цвиля Velikaja Zwilja , Polish Cwila ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Zhytomyr with about 870 inhabitants (2001).

The village, first mentioned in writing in 1677, is the administrative center of the eponymous, 63.811 km² district council in the west of Jemiltschyne district , to which the villages Boljarka ( Болярка , ) with about 100 inhabitants, Lisowe ( Лісове , ) with about 20 inhabitants, Ossowa ( Осова , ) with about 180 inhabitants and Rohiwka ( Рогівка , ) with about 40 inhabitants.

The village is located at an altitude of 205  m on the bank of the Hat ( Гать ), a 24 km long tributary of the Slutsch , 20 km southwest of the district center Jemiltschyne and 115 km northwest of the Oblast center Zhytomyr .

In the village there is the Church of the Assumption, built of wood and under monument protection.
