Velykyj Bujalyk ( Ukrainian Великий Буялик ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Odessa with 1694 inhabitants (2004).
Velykyj Bujalyk is located on the bank of the Koschkowa ( Кошкова ), a 53 km long left tributary of the Velykyj Kujalnyk , and is the only village in the district council of the same name in Ivanivka district .
The village was founded in 1802 by settlers from Bulgaria who had fled the Ottoman Empire . 1923 was prepared by the Bulgarian politicians Dimityr Blagoev in Blahojewe renamed. In 2016, the village was given its old name again in the course of decommunization in Ukraine .
