Werner Adams

Werner Adams (born June 22, 1898 in Berlin , † January 10, 1987 in Münster ) was a German railway engineer.

After studying at the Technical University of Berlin , which he graduated as a graduate engineer in 1923, he took over the construction management of the small railroad system in Altena in 1926 . From 1927 to 1930 he was in charge of the renovation of the Oberhausen train station. In 1931 he was appointed Reichsbahnrat. In the following year he became a member of the board and chief operations manager of the Westfälische Landes-Eisenbahn AG. Lippstadt. He held the official title of government builder and railway director.

From 1932 to 1950 and again from 1957 he was also the managing director of Kraftverkehr Westfalen GmbH in Lippstadt .

He married Margaret b. Plassmann (* 1898), the daughter of Otto Plassmann (1861–1932), who was Lord Mayor of Paderborn from 1895 to 1919 . His wife had studied social sciences in Cologne and then did her doctorate.
