Werner Hasler

Werner Hasler (born March 17, 1969 in Bern ) is a Swiss jazz trumpeter.

Hasler studied at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern until 1996 . In 1997 he founded the band Manufactur , with which he gave concerts in Switzerland, Germany and Poland and recorded several albums.

At the Expo 2000 in Hanover, Hasler performed as a soloist in the Swiss pavilion with a composition by Daniel Ott . In 2001 he worked as a composer and musician on Peter McCoy's choreography Synthetic Pleasurs with the ballet of the Stadttheater Bern. For the tenth anniversary of the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt, he performed Daniel Otts Raumklänge with the Ensemble Zampugn .

Since 2002 Hasler worked with Kamilya Jubran and the group Mahattaat , with whom he gave concerts a. a. in Berlin, Ljubljana, Paris and Lucerne and recorded the album Warmeedd in 2005 . During a stay in Cairo in 2005 he performed with Mahmut Refat and Karima Nait . Since 2006 he has also been working in a duo with Sunao Inami . Around 2007 he also worked in a trio with Gilbert Paeffgen and Pierre Audétat .
