Werner Koech

Werner Koech (born September 4, 1882 in Braunschweig ; † 1963 ) was a German architect .

Life

Koech joined the NSDAP in 1931 and was a member of the city council in Hanover from 1939 to 1945.

Building of the Annastift in Hanover

1914: Extension of the Annastift in Hanover (connecting central wing between the two raw brick buildings built by Heinrich Wegener in the tradition of the Hanover School of Architecture in 1897 and 1907 )

1921: Provincial correctional and rural poor institute in Wunstorf (collaboration)

1927: Extension of the Annastift (extension of the monastery building in the south with a two-wing complex extending to the east with expressionist style features)

1929: Mourning hall at the Bothfeld Jewish cemetery ( destroyed by arson in 1938 )
