Werner Völschow

Werner Völschow (born January 12, 1933 in Schwerin ; † December 15, 2018 in Rostock ) was a German singer ( baritone ), cultural scientist and reciter .

Life

Werner Völschow studied opera singing and vocal pedagogy. He had his first engagement in Wismar . In 1963 he went to the cultural administration for the Schwerin district as a specialist in music , and from 1966 for the Neubrandenburg district . From 1970 to 1976 he also completed a distance learning course in cultural studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin . After 1990 he supervised the cultural work in Neubrandenburg . He recited works by Fritz Reuter , John Brinckman , Rudolf Tarnow a . a. and released CDs of it.
