Werner Friedrich Alexander Ulfried von Arnswaldt (born December 29, 1832 in Hanover , † March 7, 1899 in Böhme ) was a manor owner, lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Werner von Arnswaldt comes from the Thuringian noble family von Arnswaldt . He was the son of August von Arnswaldt and attended the Lyceum in Hanover and then the Universities of Göttingen and Berlin to study law . For a number of years he was an auditor at various local courts and administrative offices in the Kingdom of Hanover , but since 1861 has dedicated himself to the administration of his property.

Arnswaldt was a member of the 1st Chamber of Hanover in 1866. He held numerous public offices. He was landscape councilor of the Principality of Lüneburg , member of the Hanover provincial council from 1884 to 1899, the district committee and district assembly in the Fallingbostel district , the district committee in the Lüneburg government district, the local income tax appeal committee, chairman of the Hanover-Braunschweig hail insurance company and also the hail insurance company of the agricultural association in Rethem and member of the central committee of the Royal Agricultural Society in Hanover.

From 1878 to 1884 and from 1888 until his death he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Province of Hanover 5 ( Melle , Diepholz , Sulingen , Uchte ) as a welfe and as a guest of the German Center Party .

He married on 29 January 1867 in Oldershausen Adelheid Baroness von Oldershausen.
