Werra cycle path

The Werre cycle path (official spelling: Werre cycle path) runs along the river Werre in the circles lip , Herford and Minden-Lübbecke in North Rhine-Westphalia . The path begins at the source of the Werre in Horn-Bad Meinberg -Wehren. After a total length of 71 kilometers, the cycle path ends at the Werre- Weser- Kiss near Bad Oeynhausen .

On its way through the Ravensberger Hügelland and the Ravensberger Mulde with the Werre lowland, the following cities are passed downstream: Horn-Bad Meinberg, Detmold , Lage , Bad Salzuflen , Herford , Löhne and Bad Oeynhausen. The route runs roughly parallel to federal highway 239 and the Herford – Himmighausen railway line . The train stations of Horn-Bad Meinberg, Detmold, Lage, Sylbach, Schötmar, Löhne and Bad Oeynhausen are on the route . From the confluence of the Else in Löhne, the path runs parallel to the Else-Werre cycle path .
